A stunning block in one of the best streets in Doonan, this property presented an amazing opportunity with a considerable slab area and the benefit of an additional studio structure. However, the house was dated and the block was very overgrown.

We demolished the main part of the house all the way to the slab, and reconfigured the bedroom wing and the studio, retaining the slab, external walls and some roof areas (where all other areas were replaced). In every other respect the home is new, including all plumbing, electrical, insulation, windows and doors, terraces, pool etc. We were able to extensively clear the block, leaving some beautiful mature gums for the many kookaburras that greeted us each day, which also opened up a stunning view to Coolum and Peregian Beach. This was a major renovation with a completely reimagined home.

Working hand in hand with exceptionally talented designer Blake Sheridan Design we have been able to create a beautiful home where everything you see and touch is new. Designed to compliment the rural setting with oversize stacking doors and windows, extensive use of hardwood in exposed rafters, soffits, cladding, decking and slat-work it nestles into its environment beautifully. Natural marble tiles, granite benchtops, engineered oak flooring and travertine crazy paving finish off a calm, relaxing space.
